Not to be confused with the 2015 or the 2024 version of the same name.
Cerberus, also known as Cerberus Three Headed Dog, was an animatronic sold by Spirit Halloween for the 2019 Halloween season, and was still available online in 2020. It resembled a black-furred dog with three heads. When activated, their heads turned as their eyes and mouths lit-up to growling noises. An optional fog machine could be attached. It is a remake of the 2015 animatronic of the same name.
Spirit Halloween's Description[]
"”Beware of Dog" signs won't keep your guests safe with this manic monster! These crazed dogs will stand guard over your lair as they snarl and open their jaws wide to show frighteningly sharp teeth. A startling glow erupts from their throats and beams from the reds of their eyes as their growls intensify and their bodies shake manically. Trivia[]
- Cerberus was a remake of the original 2015 version.
- Cerberus was originally not supposed to return in 2019. Instead, it was a last second replacement product.
- Despite Cerberus only being 3 years apart from the last year it was produced (2016), it was confirmed by corporate to be a flashback remake item.
- Cerberus reused the same item number, listing, listing name, portions of the description, and stock photos from the original model. However, the stock photo on the box appeared to be much darker in appearance.
- This model had an upgrade with a speaker jack option, which was missing on the 2015 version.
- Cerberus was remade once again in 2024.
- Though there was originally an "Online-Only" notice on the returning Cerberus listing, it has since been removed.
- This was most likely due to the fact it still was labeled that on the website from 2017 to 2018.
- Cerberus' code/item number name was ANIMT 37.
- The website video for Cerberus features the thumbnail of the 2019 video, but once clicked, the 2015 video plays instead.
- However, the 2019 video can be viewed on the Amazon listing.
- A bag clip was made of Cerberus.
- It depicts him with back legs despite the fact no model of the Cerberus animatronic has them.
