The Flying Witch was an animatronic sold by Spirit Halloween for the 2009 Halloween season. It resembled a witch on a broom with black and orange clothing. When plugged in, her head continuously turned and when activated her eyes lit-up as she spoke 6 different phrases.

Spirit Halloween’s Description

“Hang her high and watch her fly! This life-size Animated Talking Flying Witch Prop is sound activated and mouths off at any noise. She's got plenty to say so look out! Her eyes flash, her head moves and she mutters, cackles and claims your full attention. Hang her in the foyer to greet unsuspecting guests - startle and scare them with this fantastic prop.”

• The sound activated Life-size Animated Talking Flying Witch Prop will have the crowd spellbound. At the slight provocation, the sound activated Witch moves her head, her eyes flash and she mouths off, spewing one of five sound bites with a real bite to them!
• Dressed in traditional black and orange witch garb, this green-eyed maiden is seated on a broom with her black and orange striped legs and black shoes and stockings dangling freely.

Trivia

• The Flying Witch must have batteries for the eyes and audio, as well as be plugged in for the head movement, for every feature to function properly. Similar to Grinning Gertrude, Uncle Charlie (2010), and The Gatekeeper.
• The website used to feature the audio files for the Flying Witch to hear online, however they can no longer be viewed.
• The constant motion head turning feature of the Flying Witch was not shown in Spirit Halloween’s official demo video.
• The Flying Witch had 6 phrases, yet Spirit Halloween's description only mentioned her having 5.
• Videos of the Flying Witch were extremely scarce to nonexistent for many years, until in 2021 when a wiki admin purchased her and recorded a full demo of her in action.
