The Haunted Books was an animatronic sold by Spirit Halloween for the 2009 to 2011 Halloween seasons. It resembled four vintage books standing together with various titles and illustrations on them. When activated, two books would move in and out with one occasionally leaning out on an angle, along with making creaking sounds.

"Okay so maybe it's been a long time since you've been in a library - these books are so old they're haunted! Decorate with these Animated Haunted Books that shudder on the shelves...so cool, you might even consider cracking open a book again! Written by famous authors such as Yul B. Next."

Trivia[]
- The animatronic was brought back in 2017, but not for Spirit Halloween. Since then, several other variants of it have been created.
- This animatronic was displayed in the Wicked Woods theme in the alcove of one of the trees.
