The Head Banger Zombie, also known as the Banging Head Zombie was an animatronic sold by Spirit Halloween for the 2012 Halloween season. It resembled a bloodied zombie torso, hanging from wherever placed. When activated, the head rocked back and forth, as the mouth moved to grunting as the eyes lit-up.

“Hang this hapless Head Banging Zombie in your home and watch the screams begin. The creature features a motion sensor which sets him off in a most frightful fashion - his eyes light up and he thrashes about - stand back and cover your ears as no doubt there will be shouts and screams at the sight of his antics.”

- Head Banger Zombie's hands are posable, including fairly thick bendable wires that go up through the fingers. These can be used to hold onto anything without him falling.
- The prototype of Head Banger Zombie at the Flagship location, featured flashing-eyes instead of steady-on.
- The official video for Head Banger Zombie featured a prototype, him having blue eyes instead of the released yellow.
- The audio was reused for the Hazmat Zombie in 2017.
