Not to be confused with the 2017 animatronic Toe Tagged Corpse.
John Doe was an animatronic sold by Spirit Halloween for the 2011 Halloween season, and online for the 2012 through 2017 Halloween seasons. It resembled a corpse under a white bloody sheet. When activated, it rose up, as heavy breathing could be heard.

“This animated prop is so scary, it could raise the dead! For a hair-raising Halloween place John Doe in your home and watch the reaction as the blood-splattered corpse appears to come to life and slowly rise up, perhaps in preparation to walk away. The 3' John Doe life-sized animated prop even has a toe tag - better double-check the name on it!”

Trivia[]
- A variant of this animatronic was released and sold by Spirit Halloween in 2017, called the Toe Tagged Corpse, although it was made by a different company.
- The Toe Tagged Corpse animatronic was named "Joe", referencing to this animatronic.
- A mad scientist MIT Trigger for use with John Doe was added on Halloween Asylum’s website in 2012, however it went unreleased for unknown reasons.
- The animatronic returned to Spirit Halloween’s website in 2016, but sold out in 2018.
- In 2016, the animatronic featured a new website photo and video, showcasing it with red LED eyes. This turned out to be a mistake, as the description explained a warning, and the image was changed in early 2017.
- Other sites sold a version that doesn't have blood on the head, but has red LED eyes.
- The animatronic reuses the head from Resurrection Mary.
- The 2011 model of John Doe has a detailed head that is painted white and has some blood splatters on the face. On later models of John Doe, the face underneath the sheets is unpainted and is clear plastic.
