Trivia

  • There were at least three different prototypes of this animatronic made. One prototype was dressed in a darker green suit coat, while the other looked identical to the released version, aside from constantly illuminated lights in the eyes and neck bolts instead of blinking lights. Another featured dark eyshadow and slightly yellow skin.
  • The animatronic is called "Frankenstein," yet the correct terminology is "Frankenstein's Monster," as Frankenstein is the last name of the doctor who created the monster.
  • The arms are known to break a lot, due to the reason that Gemmy Industries used a motor on one arm and a gear on the other arm.
  • According to a user on Halloween Forum, Gemmy Industries was going to produce a "Life-Sized Bride of Frankenstein" in 2013, but was cancelled for unknown reasons.
  • Since 2017, numerous Boris Karloff Frankenstein tabletop animatronics by Gemmy Industries have been produced. Featuring released and unreleased soundtracks.
  • Cardboard cutouts of animatronics were featured around the store in 2011. This animatronic was one of them.
