Not to be confused with the 2023 animatronic The Crypt Keeper.
The Life-Sized Crypt-Keeper was an animatronic sold by Spencer Gifts for the 1995 and 1996 Halloween seasons. It resembled the Crypt-Keeper, the host of the television series Tales from the Crypt. When activated, the head of the Crypt-Keeper would continuously turn from side to side, while one of two interchangeable cassette tapes would play Halloween related or regular dialogue.
Spencer Gifts’ Description[]
“Send in the clones! Here, for the first time ever, is a life-size, motorized, talking Cryptkeeper fashioned and manufactured after the original in every disgusting detail. With one flick of a switch, your very own Cryptkeeper begins to talk as his bony head moves from side to side. What a wonderful haunting addition "he" will be when you place him inside that morbid manor you call home.”
