Moonshine Barrel Zombie

Not to be confused with the 2010 animatronic Zombie Barrel.

The Moonshine Barrel Zombie was an animatronic sold by Spirit Halloween for the 2015 Halloween season. It resembled a male zombie wearing a bloody mint-green shirt inside a tattered barrel of moonshine. When activated, he popped up out of the barrel as his eyes lit up and his mouth moved while he groaned.

“Speak of the Devil and out he pops - literally! This Moonshine Barrel Zombie is filled with undead fun. The animated zombie is tucked away inside an old moonshine barrel. When activated, this zombie jumps up and starts feeding. Sure to put a scare into all of your guests. (Step pad compatible)”

Trivia[]

Moonshine Barrel Zombie was originally planned for release in 2014 but was held back until 2015 for unknown reasons.
- Another animatronic by Easewell Management featuring the same mechanism, Chester the Jester, was also intended for release in 2014 but went unreleased until 2015, when it became an online-only item.
Moonshine Barrel Zombie likely would have been displayed in the Last Chance Gas ISE had he been released in 2014.
When Moonshine Barrel Zombie released in 2015, his box art was never updated to match that year’s design.
In early 2015, Moonshine Barrel Zombie was listed as online-only, but later in the season the online-only tag was removed.
