Not to be confused with the 2025 animatronic of the same name.
Sam was an animatronic sold by Spirit Halloween for the 2019 to 2021 Halloween seasons and returned online in 2022 and 2023, with stock remaining until 2024. It resembled the character Sam from the 2007 film Trick 'r Treat. When activated, his body turned from side to side while the arm holding a lollipop moved up and down. Music from the film, along with laughter, played during this sequence.

Holding his beloved lollipop, Sam moves back and forth making stabbing motions with his arms and laughs so creepily that it will scare anyone in sight!
Sam from Trick 'r Treat moves his arm up and down in a stabbing motion and his torso moves side to side as he laughs and plays music from the movie. Display him with his classic burlap sack head, or change it up and give everyone a real good scare when you put his unmasked pumpkin head on."

Trivia[]
- Sam came with two heads: one masked and one unmasked.
- The Talking Pumpkin Door Knocker appeared on the door behind Sam in the demo.
- Sam was the third of four licensed characters released in 2019, alongside Twisty, the Terror Dog, and Pennywise.
- Michael Dougherty, the director of Trick 'r Treat, replied to Bloody Disgusting’s article on Spirit Halloween's "Sam" animatronic on Twitter: "I have no fear. There is no need. He is but a grown up pumpkin seed. #TrickRTreat".
- Sam’s code/item number was ANIMT 10 in 2019, ANIM 659 in 2020, ANIM 0341 in 2021, and HL000424 in 2022.
- The interchangeable heads were two separate pieces. The "Pumpkin Head" was not underneath the "Burlap Head."
- The prototype of Sam had a more rounded head, a fuller bag, a dirtier costume, and a red-and-white lollipop stick, unlike the orange-and-black stick of the released model.
- A different Sam animatronic was produced in 2025.
