Thrashing Clown

The Thrashing Clown was an animatronic sold by Spirit Halloween for the 2013 Halloween season. It resembled a clown with purple hair dressed in a blood-splattered, multicolored shirt, and striped pants. When activated, the TNT box (included with the animatronic), would light-up while beeping five times and then emit a loud noise, at which point the animatronic was activated. The clown's body thrashed around as the eyes lit-up while laughter and carnival music could be heard.

"Shake things up on Halloween when you decorate using this all together spooky Thrashing Clown animatronic. Decoration features uncontrollable shaking motion and spooky laughter, complete with clown and TNT  box - add a little horror to your carnival scene!"

Trivia[]

  • Thrashing Clown shared the same mechanism as the Death Row and Strapped Serial Killer.
  • Similar to Death Row, Thrashing Clown is compatible with any chair with arm rests.
  • Though Thrashing Clown was a part of the Spirit Clown Train, Spirit's online video showcasing the ISE did not include him in action.
  • Thrashing Clown could be paired with the included TNT box.
    • The TNT box was exclusive to Thrashing Clown, and was not sold separately.
  • In 2019, Thrashing Clown was scheduled to be released to public wholesalers, but never made it to reproduction.
