The Try Me Button was an activation item utilized by Spirit Halloween for the 2007 to 2009 Halloween seasons. It resembled a red button that read "Try Me". When pressed, it would activate the animatronic that it was hooked up to.

- Unlike the Step Pad, the Try Me Button can also deactivate the animatronic during activation.
- These buttons were never sold unless you bought one from the try me button display pieces.
- In 2018, Gemmy Industries started manufacturing these buttons again and included them with most of their new life sizes and displays for easier in store demonstrations.
- In 2024, Spirit Christmas sold a 4 Ft Grinch that included this try me button with it.
